Overlooking the harbour, a few paces away from the beach and just a few minutes’ walk from the town centre, the bright and airy apartment provides self-catering comfort for up to 6 guests, with complementary Wi-Fi.
The living/dining room has views over the harbour and marina, the river Rheidol and the hillsides beyond and opens onto a fully equipped kitchen area, giving you the flexibility to eat in or dine out. There are three comfortable double bedrooms (one can be made up with twin singles on request) and two bathrooms, with a high chair and cot (for which you will need to bring your own bedding) or extra child’s mattress and bedding available on request.
We also offer a great value 1 bed option for individuals or couples.
The apartment is well located for exploring both coastline and countryside, with easy access from the doorstep to the cycle route network as well as the stunning coastal path and other walks through the surrounding countryside.
South Beach is literally just around the corner. It has RNLI lifeguard cover in high season and is great for swimming, surfing, BBQs, fishing, sunsets and bird and dolphin watching. Popular North beach is a pleasant stroll along the promenade, just past the pier (renowned for amazing starling murmurations in winter) and overlooked by the now smartly rebuilt bandstand which offers regular entertainment in summer.
There are great local bars a stone’s throw away from the apartment at the Castle Hotel, Rummers, which has regular live music and Y Stordy/Storehouse, which offers a tasty menu and good selection of wines, beers and cocktails.
Aberystwyth is well stocked with pubs, cafes, delis and restaurants to suit all tastes and budgets and offers a good mix of high street and interesting independent shops as well as an independent cinema, a museum, library and leisure centre, an Arts Centre and the National Library of Wales.
There is also an 18 hole golf course and several others a few miles outside Aberystwyth.
National and local public transport services run from the town centre train and bus stations.
There is a good sized Tesco only a short distance from the apartment, and Budgen, Lidl and Iceland are a little further away. There is also a Morrisons, is approximately 1 mile out of town on the A487.
